Life in Numbers: Day XXVIII

The Finding of the Treasure

Today has been a busy family day of the best sort. The house needed tidying and cleaning but, somehow, instead, we ended up doing just about everything except that. Auri starting creating a detective comic in her head, and acting it out with whatever toys were to hand, which resulted in the two detectives being dolphins. Tomorrow, she wants to write and draw it up as a proper comic.

We all went to the campus this afternoon, so Auri could practice riding her bike. She is getting better, and I was able to let go of her for longer each time. Starting off is still difficult, but I get the feeling it is just going to click soon. One daughter was learning to cycle, while another was toddling along with her little balance bike (not riding - she just wanted to push it most of the time). Two young boys were cycling past, up and down.

On our morning walk, Auri found a small handful of treasure. It was very exciting.
