I loved this series, even if I missed a few, I've still gone back to peek.
I agree, this was a great way to start your seasonal notebooks, and the choosing of poem and leaf and day crucial to the whole. It just seemed to work really well!
Many thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next one.
Thank you - even now, a week into October and with the trees getting more and more sparse, I am still adjusting to life beyond leaf-writing (for now)! The family clearly are too. I still get presented with leaves to write on when we're walking somewhere.
I think that's lovely! Being handed leaves is a wonderful thing. We keep finding various items in Ailsa's pockets, such as pine cones. I was wondering why my eyes and nose have been itching lately and yesterday we discovered one of said pine cones had opened and dumped a huge quantity of pollen...
She has some new (2nd hand) hoodies, and was delighted by the combination of hood and pockets. She proceeded to place lions (of the playmobil variety) in the pockets.
"“Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes” by Mem Fox and Helen Oxenbury (Day XVIII), which came into my life only in the last year, shortly after Elfi did." yesssss! 😁

I appreciate this! If there was a book of Things Found in Children's Pockets, I would buy it immediately.
You should add it to the 'one day' list of projects!

I just had to include this one!
